The Skin Care Scanner: GlowUp app ("the App," "we," "us") takes your privacy seriously. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights. The App is designed to minimize data collection and stores all analysis results locally on your device.
1. Information We Collect and Process
The App does not require account creation, so we do not collect or store email addresses, names, or other direct personal identifiers.
1.1 Sensitive Face Data and Photos (Biometric Data)
We process your photos, which may contain sensitive personal data (biometric data), only with your explicit consent and strictly for the purpose of running the skin analysis feature.

2. Use, Sharing, and Storage of Face Data
2.1 Planned Use and Sharing with Third Parties
Your face data is used strictly for the functionality you initiate:
Skin Analysis (Core Feature): The Selfie Photo is transmitted as input to the OpenAI API to perform the AI-powered skin analysis.
Report Generation: The results from the API are used to create your personalized report and recommendations.
Crucial Sharing Assurance: The Selfie Photo is sent to the OpenAI API, acting as our data processor. In line with OpenAI’s API data policies, the inputs sent via the API (your photo) are not used by OpenAI to train or improve their AI models.
2.2 Storage Duration and Location (Retention)
We implement a policy of data minimization and immediate deletion for all sensitive raw photo data.

No Server Storage: Since we do not offer accounts, none of your photos or analysis results are stored on our servers. If you delete the App from your device, all locally stored analysis results will be deleted as well.
3. Your Rights and Control
Deletion: You can delete your saved analysis reports at any time by removing them directly within the App on your device.
No Persistent Identifiers: Because we don't maintain accounts, we do not store any persistent data that could be used to identify the individual behind the analysis. Photos are never linked to biometric templates or used for authentication.
